Hi! I had a facelift 5 months ago along with Co2 laser. Swelling is gone now I have some serious wrinkles under my eyes now.NEVER at any point had wrinkles around my eyes much less had much wrinkles anyways (42yrs old). I can't make facial expressions w/o wrinkless showing. PS put botox to help, did absolutely nothing to correct it. It looks like she didn't put anything there at all. I am terrified of lasersCo2 ruined my skin 5 months later still not healed. What will fix wrinkles?
Answer: Under eye wrinkles An exam is needed for specific recommendations but there are various options to address the under eye area. You can consider dermal fillers to improve contours. AccuTite is a minimally invasive procedure that can safely be used on the delicate under eye area to tighten skin. Morpheus8 is another option to address this area. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day. You can learn more by visiting my website or a provider near you.

Answer: Treating Wrinkles Around the Eyes Thanks for your question. Two of the most effective devices I have worked with for this indication are: Sofwave- utilizing microfocused ultrasound to deliver heat to the deep dermis at a depth of 1.5mm, generating new collagen and elastin in the skin. It's a very popular treatment also as it has no downtime! Morpheus8- utilizing RF energy delivered at the tips of micropins. With this approach you get the collagen stimulation of the heat PLUS the collagen stimulation of the microneedling, so you can potentially get more result per session, but at the expense of 'some downtime'- puffiness, faint redness for a day or two, potential bruising. Both work very well, both require topical numbing. Both have small applicators designed to work in this delicate region- the Precise Handpiece for the Sofwave, and the Prime Tip for the Morpheus8. Both are very safe though in particular with the Morpheus8 I would be careful to go to a provider you can firmly 'trust'- based on reputation, reviews, and/or recommendations of others, as this one can cause a burn if technique is not good on the part of the provider. I hope that helps!

Answer: Under eye wrinkles can be reduced by doing Morpheus8 or Venus Viva RF and botox Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: I would suggest Morpheus8 This is a noninvasive micro-needle in technique with radiofrequency treatment of the deeper parts of the skin leaving the surface intact. This is the most successful radiofrequency skin treatment that is available. We have recently purchased this equipment. The downtime is minimal, about one day depending on the extent of the treatment.

Answer: Here are potential options to consider 'm sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like you're dealing with some unexpected outcomes from your procedure. Here are a few potential options to consider: 1. Topical Retinoids: Retinoids can help stimulate collagen production and repair skin damage. They are often used for wrinkles and signs of aging. However, they can cause some skin irritation, so it's important to use them under the supervision of a dermatologist. 2. Chemical Peels: These can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by removing the outer layers of damaged skin. The new skin that forms is usually smoother and less wrinkled. 3. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers: These are injectable fillers that can help to smooth out wrinkles and add volume to the skin. They can be particularly effective for wrinkles under the eyes. 4. Microneedling: This procedure uses tiny needles to create controlled injuries on the skin, which can help to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin. 5. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP involves injecting your own platelets into the skin to stimulate healing and rejuvenation. It can help to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. 6. Consultation with a different plastic surgeon: If you're not satisfied with your current surgeon's approach, it may be worth seeking a second opinion. Remember, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare provider or dermatologist before starting any new treatment. They can provide guidance based on a thorough understanding of your skin's needs and sensitivities. Also, healing from procedures like a facelift and laser treatment can take time, and your skin may still be in the process of recovering. Lastly, it's important to have realistic expectations about the results of any treatment.
