Are HIFU and radio frequency safe to use after umbilical hernia repair and recent pregnancy?

I had an umbilical hernia repair July 2021. This was completed without mesh and using stitch only. I have some slight loose skin on my belly following two pregnancies. I was looking at getting HIFU and radio frequency on my stomach. Are there any issues getting this post umbilical hernia repair? Ie; can it dissolve the stitches somehow? Also, should you wait until you are back to desired weight post pregnancy? I’m 7 weeks post partum. I’m 37, non smoker, have always been a normal weight.

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and radiofrequency treatments are generally non-invasive and shouldn’t affect stitches from a previous surgery. However, it’s important to inform the practitioner about your medical history, including the hernia repair, to ensure they tailor the treatment appropriately.

Regarding timing and post-pregnancy weight, waiting until you’re back to your desired weight and have fully recovered from childbirth is advisable. Rapid weight changes can impact the effectiveness and longevity of certain cosmetic procedures.
