Is there extra benefit of having microneedling without numbing cream?

There is no additional benefit to having microneedling performed without anesthetic. Blocking the pain receptors does not have any effects on the controlled wounding to induce collagen. The anesthetic makes it easier to tolerate a more aggressive treatment so that the effects will be better!

     There is no additional benefit to having microneedling done without numbing cream. I would definitely recommend using it, as your comfort allows the provider to be as aggressive as she can be. This will increase your results. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Numbing cream is typically applied prior to the Microneedling treatment to help ease pain that is sometimes experienced with Microneedling. If you opt not to use numbing cream, you may experience pain and discomfort during the procedure. There is no benefit of not using a numbing cream.  I would advise to use the cream, relax, and enjoy the treatment! Consult with a Board-Certified Dermatologist to discuss the best treatment plan for you.

The main concern for many is the application of chemicals on their face; this is usually the reason for opting for a mechanical procedure micro needling versus other skin rejuvenation which requires the application of chemicals. The benefit would be a chemical free procedure.

HiThere is no benefit to having a Needling treatment performed without a topical anaesthetic. In fact in may hinder your results as the treatment would be some what unbearable and therefore not be able to be performed at the desired depth.Hope this helps

There is no benefit to forgoing numbing cream prior to a microneedling treatment.  The numbing cream helps to make the treatment more comfortable and is removed prior to microneedling.  Enjoy your treatment, microneedling is a great choice for stimulating collagen growth and can give beautiful results. 

Applying topical numbing gel makes the procedure more comfortable. There is no added benefit for not getting the gel.
