On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say I have level 6 under eye wrinkles. I do not have bags at all. What is the best laser to use for this area?
Answer: Which Laser? Unfortunately, without a personal examination, it's difficult to know if both the skin's quality and the skin quantity need to be treated. For eskin quality issues such as wrinkles, I have found the Sciton Erbium laser to be very effective in being able to tune in how much heat is necessary to remove the wrinkles and tighten the skin. Should that amount of tightening not be adequate, then some combination of a skin pinch and laser resurfacing could be done. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your region with demonstrated expertise in cosmetic laser surgery. Best of luck.

CONTACT NOW Answer: A light CO2 laser can minimize appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Laser Resurfacing Thank you for your question. Laser resurfacing can be done to one specific region of the face, including the areas under the eye. There are many different types of cosmetic lasers being used. With each of these techniques, the outer layers of wrinkled and damaged skin are treated to achieve a more refreshed appearance. Please post photos here so we can provide you additional direction. Also, I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,

Answer: Laser for undereye wrinkles My favorite laser for undereye wrinkles is the Sciton erbium laser. It gives the best balance of results and downtime (about a week). Sometimes for really bad wrinkles we combine removing a pinch of skin with laser resurfacing. The procedure usually is done under local anesthesia.
