As shown, I heard about a procedure to remove this. My neck does the same thing.. blushes easily like when the face flushes but anything triggers it like tempreature, stress, embarrassment, anything. I think it's a leaser as the skin in the neck area is too thing on us people who have this. Does it work? What's it called?
Answer: Flushing caused by Acne Rosacea I see this very commonly in our clinic. I approach this very differently than most cosmetic surgeons. First, what you are describing is something called Acne Rosacea which is a specific condition caused by the growth of very tiny capillaries which causes an increased flow of blood to the face and neck. These "triggers" ie heat, embarrassment, wine, and certain foods cause a rush of blood, hence "flushing." This condition is caused by an overreactive immune system. In our clinic, we actually treat the root causes of this. It is too complicated to go into detail here but it involves the GI tract and food sensitivities. We we treat the gut it helps decrease the flushing but it is the only long term solution. In addition to this, we use the IPL laser to help target the red. It is very effective to reduce the redness. It requires a series of treatments spaced every 2 weeks. If you only use a laser ie IPL or Vbeam or Excel you will find that the redness comes back very easily.

Answer: Vbeam laser can defuse the redness Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Flushing on Chest Great question. Overall redness with flushing exacerbations (rosacea) can be treated with IPL/BBL which also provides improvement in sun damage and slows down skin aging. For most patients, a series of treatments dramatically improve symptoms. This is a chronic condition, so after that, a few treatments a year are needed to maintain your improvement.

Answer: Laser for redness... Thank you for your question. Flushers and Blushers can be difficult to treat. We find the two best lasers for treating this are the Excel V 532 KTP and the V Beam Pulsed Dye. Since the Excel V came on to the market a few years we feel it has replaced the V Beam as the gold standard for treating redness and flushing. In as few as 3 treatments you can see remarkable resolution of these Rosacea symptoms. We would be delighted to evaluate and manage you with the Excel V. Regards, Dr. Matt Eliasp.s. I have attached an article from yesterday where a Real Housewife shares her experience with the Excel V for redness.
