Hi there, I am 47 y/ o male with hyperpigmentation spots because of bad suncreen use while surfing. Have done 2 TCA 18% Peels, which has done nothing. With the TCA Peels I stayed at home because the peeling was very bad looking. Now i want to remove the pigmentation with small spots at a time. Is it possible to do just the two spots between the circles. Will it be just two little scabs for a few days so I can still go to work? Dont want to do my whole face at one time and having a face full of scabs. Also are the scabs even big as the treated spots? Thank for all the advise!
Hi! Im trying to decide between Tetra CO2 (CoolPeel) and Fraxel Dual to treat my acne scars. Im in my late 20s with fair to medium skin tone and no active acne. Id love to hear from providers or patients whove tried either (or both). Which one delivers better results for textural acne scars? Whats the downtime like for each? How many sessions are usually needed? Thanks so much for any advice or experience you can share!
47, BMI 28, just started Climary, soon to start GLP1, autonomic nerve damage and autoimmune disorders has left me with no thyroid and an impaired swallow reflex. Since I lost my thyroid, I can't get over minor infections without a trip to the hospital for IV antibiotics. Drink plenty of water, don't smoke, don't drink and I never leave the house without SPF50. Avoiding injections and I'm looking for alternatives to resolve Ozempic Face. Is laser a good alternative?
I am 32YO Male. Underwent HT 7 years ago. I had prominent ridge formation on the transplanted area (1200grafts were planted on the frontal area). I took corticosteroids shots on the transplanted area which reduced the ridge size by 50-60%. I was wondering if co2 laser will reduced the ridge size further and will it damage my transplanted hair follicles? Or is it better to remove the transplanted hair follicles and plant it back in the donor area and undergo co2 laser resurfacing on the ridgy area and then undergo another HT?
I've gotten recommendations for lower bleph, lasers, intense peels. What would help most? Worried it might be too early for surgery? If lasers, what specific laser would you recommend? Should I go to a derm or oculoplastic surgeon? So much information out there but its hard to know what is best
Early January I had a sunburn at the back of my neck. Weeks after treating it with some after sun lotion, I began to experience these sharp painful stings in the back of my neck where I burned. It comes and goes and my neck is still sore today from that burn. What are these stings and could they be related to the sunburn?
Hello. I am a 51 year old man who's skin universally has prematurely aged as an unfortunate side effect of a medication. It is particularly bad on the side of my face that I sleep on and crinkly expression lines appear on that side when I smile. Even at rest the skin on this side of my face looks rough. I was wondering whether a resurfacing treatment would help e.g. CO2 laser or phenol. I include a photo of that side at rest and with me bunching up the skin to show the damage.
Hi. I was wondering what the best type of laser or what procedure would be best for having the unfortunate outcome of redness on the nose after a rhinoplasty years ago. It looks like a sunburn and I'm insecure about it. I don't want to have to do many sessions for the removal just 1. Which treatment would be the best and most effective treatment?
These are three different places on my face. I would like to remove them. The moles in the second and third photo were shaved off by a dermatologist and grew back .. not sure why they did that. It was almost ten years ago. Is ablative laser a good option? Nitrogen? I obviously don't want a massive scar but a little scar I wouldn't mind.
