Recently, after consulting to treat acne scars, I was told that laser treatments can cause vitiligo in patients with vitiligo. What are some safe treatments for acne scars in patients with vitiligo? Additionally, is the V-beam safe for vitiligo patient?
Are there any treatment options for veins close to the eye area? Im extremely self conscious of these veins. Ive been told undereye PRP injections, RF ablation and microneedling will help. Ive tried them all to no avail. Is there anything that can be used this close to the eye that will actually be effective?
I had a Sciton Profractional laser at a depth of 40 micron ablation, 22% density, 7 months ago. It swelled up for months, has been sensitive to heat, and dry air, and now is rigid and pitted. Now when I put on makeup, I have to fill in holes! A dermatologist said maybe dermatitis. I tried elidel for months. I dont think it did anything. It had been red for months, it fluctuates now. My skin barrier is ruined. She only cleaned my skin with a quick swipe of an alcohol swab , and I had a CC cream on! She didnt give me post op printout, just verbal instructions. Ive tried 2 separate week rounds of doxycycline, one week of bactrim, and most recently ENT recommended Kenalog injections. Im so scared to do anything else to the area, because no one can give me an exact cause to all of this.
Im am 48 yo with moderate lipotosis/eye bags. Ive had some success with micro needling + PRP (4 sessions total). Unfortunately lower blephoroplasty is very likely contraindicated due to chronic dry eye. What procedure would yield the best/longest results? TIA.
I've done IPL and feel like it does a decent job with sun damage but am looking for a laser treatment that will get my brown, red spots and help with skin texture. I'm pain adverse and dont like anything that could penetrate and damage fat in the face. What lasers or peels should I do?
I've been speaking with several different clinics but can't seem to wrap my head around if there would be any major results with a fractional ablative treatment. From what I understand, fractional only does part of your skin (and I don't know if it provides great results) while the fully ablative does your whole skin and gives big results. But both are ablating the skin. Is there any significant change to the skin with the fractional ablative?
I have what it's called two Venous Lakes on my lip and I hear that laser treatment might be one of the better treatments since there are no incisions . I have attached some pictures and would like to know if there are any doctors that can help me in the San Francisco Bay Area with treatment and perhaps let me know what laser you may use that will help me . Thanks.
