I’m a 50 year old women with a healthy weight 5 ‘ 124lbs. athletic build. I had one consultation with a dr who said he can pull it up and smooth it in my arm pit. Any other recommendations?

Your concerns encompass mild excess arm skin, arm cellulite, and excess arm fat. While liposuction can address fat, age 50 may impact skin contraction due to collagen and elastin loss.
Considering this, a torsoplasty procedure seems more suitable. This involves an armpit-to-chest incision, effectively removing excess skin and fat in the axillary region. For optimal results, a vertical incision from the armpit down the chest is advisable—a technique known as vertical torsoplasty.

An in person evaluation is needed for the best recommendation, but the suggestion by the surgeon you saw seems reasonable.  The incision would be limited to the underarm area.  The excess skin would be removed, revealing a smoother contour.  You may be a candidate for BodyTite which could potentially help as an alternative.
