Hello I was wondering if im a good candidate for an arm lift or if i should have an arm lipo instead. Just a bit of background: I have stretch marks around my arms even if i loose weight my arms still look big while their size decrease its really difficult for me to loose the fat that has been accumulated in my arms. Im planning on getting a BBL as well so would it be possible to get an arm lift (if necessary) and a BBL without much complication ?
Answer: Considering options If you have stretch marks on your arms it is likely you won't have much bounce back to the skin with liposuction alone. An arm lift will remove the excess fat as well as the lax skin. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Arms I would recommend doing the liposuction with Renuvion skin tightening to see how well you will do and avoid the long scar.

Answer: Arm Lift versus Liposuction for Better Results Thanks for your question regarding whether an arm lift or liposuction would deliver better results, especially considering the presence of stretch marks on your arms. Stretch marks are indicative of skin that has been excessively stretched and has lost its ability to retract or shrink back to a smaller size. In such cases, the skin may not respond adequately to liposuction alone, as liposuction mainly removes fat but does not significantly tighten the skin. Given this, I'd strongly recommend considering an arm lift, also known as brachioplasty. An arm lift procedure involves making an incision (either down the inner arm or within the armpit), removing excess skin and fat, and subsequently tightening the remaining skin. The incision's placement and length depend on the amount of skin and fat to be removed and the specific technique chosen. Both liposuction and arm lift procedures are performed under general anesthesia. It's important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in these procedures to determine the best approach for you. Please remember to allow your arms to rest and avoid putting any tension on the incisions post-surgery.

Answer: Likely Require an Arm Lift Based on the excess skin and the presence of stretch marks, you are likely to require an arm lift. While this will leave a scar, it will also greatly improve the contour of the area in question. While this could be done in conjunction with a BBL, I would recommend asking your treating physician about blood thinners. Combining arm surgery with a BBL will decrease your postoperative mobility, which can place you at risk for VTE (venous thromboembolism). Blood thinner management can help to decrease your chance of VTE and increase the safety of the procedure.
