I had abdominoplasty with lipo to waist 4 weeks ago , since the surgery I noticed my waist is asymmetrical and right side is very tender and sensitive to touch also lower abdomen pouch . Does this look normal and if not what is best solution?!
Answer: 1 month post op, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.At this point (1 month post-po) the swelling is normal. To reduce it, I recommend you perform daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the abdomen and wear a postoperative girdle from thigh to the breasts.Kind regards,Dr. Emma Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Any suggestions for waist asymmetry and lower abdomen bulging ?! Thank you for your question and photographs, and I can see your areas of concern. As you are recently out from surgery, it is difficult without an in-person examination to determine what may be taking place. Most commonly this is residual swelling from surgery which will spontaneously resolve, but it would be important to voice your concerns to your surgeon to ensure that other issues are not taking place - discrete fluid collection, muscle laxity, or residual adipose tissue. Hope this helps.

Answer: Abdominoplasty postop It will take 3-6 months for the swelling to settle. There is always swelling above the scar and a lot of this will settle. I would keep in touch with your PS.
