Left breast is lower and nipple weird after mammogram, normal? (Photo)

Question

After having a mammogram I noticed my left breast was sitting lower and my nipple looked weird. Is this normal? It’s been 6 months since breast Aug, no lift, went from a C to D. Saline Moderate Plus profile

Good morning,
It's really hard to tell from the single photo- it would be helpful to see preop pics or at least progression pics- it is possible for mammography to tear the breast implant capsule and cause some pain and distortion, but it's impossible to tell from this single photo.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

The submitted photo does not show any obvious concerns.  I encourage you to visit with your surgeon as she/he is most familiar with your look prior to surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery. Your surgeon can assess you for implant rupture or other concerns.

Not a major difference expect the size on the questioned side appears smaller then the opposite side. If anything increase size of that implant to 100 cc's+ more.

From your photo, I note a degree of breast size asymmetry.
Undergoing a mammogram can be quite  physically traumatic to the patient. 
One cannot make a diagnosis with a single photograph, but it is within the realm of possibility that you may have suffered an implant rupture.
It may be wise to revisit your plastic surgeon for evaluation, examination, and discussion.

It would be helpful to see recent photos of your breasts after your augmentation to compare. The left breast appears smaller than the right. I recommend seeing your plastic surgeon for a physical exam and potentially an ultra sound to rule out implant rupture.
