I have always had significant asymmetry. I'm leaning towards a reduction on the right but I am hesitant because I would really like to be somewhere in between the size of left and right. What options are there to achieve this?
Answer: Simple solutions are often the best I would advocate for a breast lift and reduction on your larger side to match the dimensions of your smaller breast. Personally, I think I could achieve better symmetry with this simple approach, compared to a more complicated plan that involves augmenting both breasts.

Answer: Asymmetry There are a few options to improve your asymmetry. You can lift the larger breast and use differently sized implants to get them more symmetrical. You can also reduce the larger breast and then place the same size implants in both breasts to give you the volume you want in both. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss these options and learn more.

Answer: Correcting asymmetry If you’d like to be somewhere in between, a reduction can be performed on the larger breast and a small implant can be placed in the smaller one. If you want to match the size of the smaller one, then a reduction on the larger breast would be sufficient.

Answer: Bellesoma Method and mini lift Your breasts are asymmetrical in volume, shape and position. The smaller breast at the nipple-areola complex is too low and pointing outward. You will need a breast lift on both breasts. I recommend lifting the larger breast and at the same time lifting the smaller breast and either performing fat transfer or small implant. The technique I recommend on the larger breast is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The technique I recommend on the smaller breast is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or a small implant can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift/Reduction/Augmentation Good morning, I would recommend you lift and reduce the larger side to match the smaller side, and then place same size implants on both sides- this will give you the best overall symmetry and a breast size a little larger than your naturally smaller breast!

Answer: Breast augmentation Thank you for the question. The in between size will require augmentation of the smaller breast, which can be achieved with an implant or fat transfer. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Houston. TX.
