I am four months out from my BBL my butt looks like I have balloons on each side the shape looks gross and I have this weird tingling feeling followed by pain when it jiggles or I walk? Is any of this normal?
Answer: Weird feeling Dear Jay2019, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Is this weird feeling in my butt 4 months post BBL normal? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation and discomfort are normal. Answer: Is this weird feeling in my butt 4 months post BBL normal? Weird feelings after surgery are normal. These sensations are normally your nerves getting their feeling back. There can be several different feelings you can experience. These normally go away within a few months. The look you are explaining can’t really be assessed without a photo or seeing it in person. If you have concerns with the look seek some advice from your surgeon and see what their recommendation would be.

Answer: Strange sensations after a BBL it's not uncommon for patients to have different sensations when major body transformations are done. Most of these go away slowly with time or patience simply get used to the sensations and excepted as the new normal. It is highly unlikely any treatment can be done to remove the sensations you're having but if they persist for a year or longer and are very bothersome then consider getting some type of work up which may not lead to any definitive diagnosis In regards to the aesthetic out, this is something you need to discuss with the provider who did this treatment for you. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
