Yes you should be fine. Smoking tobacco leads to decreased blood flow to the tissues and thus decreased healing. In addition, if general anesthesia is being used, your lungs are irritated and you cough more and don't oxygenate as well. Chronic smoking is the issue that leads to wound healing issues.That being said, the less smoking of anything the better.Hope this helpsDr. J
