I did a breast lift implant exchange from 415CC under the muscle to 335CC SUB GLANDULAR. I notice that my left breast is lower and i can push it up with my hand,it is also sitting right on my rib. It actually creates like a bump underneath the breast. The right looks higher and has more upper pole fullness. Will i need a revision?
Answer: Breast Revision I would say that overall the incision designs (especially the one into the armpit) are not acceptable. It is difficult to fully determine what is going on without performing a physical exam, but there is certainly some unnatural aesthetics (with all due respect). You would likely need a revision lift with support of the implant pocket and/or pocket change to submuscular position with an external support system such as Galaflex. I am sorry that this happened! Even the abdomen liposuction location sites are in a position that are not standard for any type of body contouring. I would recommend seeing a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with aesthetic surgery training and experience to tackle this type of problem in a safe and efficient manner. Best of luck!

Answer: Breasts You are too early to tell. Do wear a supporting bra, probably with underwire or good underneath support to discourage your implant from sagging.

Answer: 6 weeks post op, did my breast bottom out? Will I need a revision? Your photos show some asymmetry, but 6 weeks in much too early in the post operative recovery period to confirm a need for a revision. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon who can either alleviate your concerns or provide a time period when a more definitive diagnosis can be made.

Answer: Surgery results Dear fdelarosa14, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Revisional breast surgery The photos that you submitted appear to be early in the post operative phase of healing as there are areas around the areola that are not completely healed. If this is true, then it is WAY to early to determine if a revision will be required. The first phase of wound healing is associated with swelling and contraction where the skin and soft tissues are tight. As time goes by, the tissues will loosen, swelling will decrease and scars will flatten and fade. Only then will it be possible to determine if revisional surgery will be necessary.
