Implant exchange - when is the soonest I can swap them?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

I would wait to make sure the capsular contracture doesn’t recur. If the strattice solved the issue, thank your lucky stars and don’t touch your breasts. Even something as seemingly minor like swapping implant size could trigger the capsule.

I don't recommend going larger since you have had a capsule. If you want to go smaller, I suggest waiting at least 6 months to let the capsule reform. If you go back in sooner, you may get another tight or thick capsule. Plus, you do have swelling now which will go away in a few weeks. You may decide you are fine once the swelling is gone.
