Hello there! I'm currently stuck in the middle of the classic argument of choosing between 35 CCs. 415 CCs vs 450 CCs (high profile, round silicon gel in both). I am a deflated 34 B. Will the extra 35 CCS be helpful or hurtful to someone with a minimal amount of sag and total loss of upper pole fullness? I'm trying to weigh the pros and the cons of the extra CCs. I will definitely avoid the larger implant if the concensus is to. Thank you Doctors!
Answer: Breast implants 35 cc is less than a 10% difference in your case. It really wont amount to much at all. Close communication with your PS can help you decide on which is right for you

Answer: Do 35 ccs really make a difference? Thank you for sharing your excellent question. In general with the implant sizes that you are comparing 35cc's will not make much of a material difference in your end results as it is less than a 10% increase in volume spread over the entire dimension of the implant. Assuming both implants have been cleared by your surgeon as appropriate for your frame I would advise selecting the one that you feel looks best on your frame. Hope this helps.

Answer: Implant Type and Sizing Selection Hi GeorgiaGirl89, Breast implant type and size selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion of the pros and cons of the various types and sizes. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements. Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match. Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Does 20, 30, or 40cc make a difference between breast implants? This is one of the most commonly asked questions during consults and sizing.... how much of a difference does going up or down make? The bottom line is that the difference between 415 and 440cc is actually quite small- one ounce- or about the volume of a shot of vodka/whiskey/tequila. Let's think about this a different way... think about adding an extra shot of espresso to your morning grande latte.... Is the cup that much fuller? Sure, you may get a little extra buzz, but I doubt that you are going to notice the difference in amount of coffee that you drank For most women, the decision between two implants is a major one, but in reality, the difference between 20, 30, or 40 cc is usually very small. Like the extra shot of espresso, it may make you feel better but is not likely to change the aesthetic result.

Answer: Size difference Usually an amount like 35cc will not make much of a difference in terms of long term outcome. You may be happier knowing that you chose the bigger implants so you dont regret going smaller
