I am a month post op I was at the club drinking and a guy turned around and elbowed me in the boob. I have silicone gel 700 ccs. Could this have caused a rupture? Do alot of women with implants get bumped into elbowed or lightly hit in the boob from being in crowds and public places? Thank you!

Answer: Minor trauma and breast implants. Thank you for your question. Silicone implants are very durable and minor trauma as described is highly unlikely to cause a rupture. One may sustain a fractured rib before a ruptured implant would likely occur. If any concerns continue see your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Elbowed in boob freaking out, could it be ruptured? Thank you for your inquiry. It is highly unlikely that there is any damage to the implant. You may be sore for a couple of days. If there is any change in shape of your breast, I would discuss it with your plastic surgeon.
