I am a month post op I was at the club drinking and a guy turned around and elbowed me in the boob. I have silicone gel 700 ccs. Could this have caused a rupture? Do alot of women with implants get bumped into elbowed or lightly hit in the boob from being in crowds and public places? Thank you!

Answer: Did My Breast Implant Break The breast implants which have been used for the past 25 years are VERY durable. It takes a significant force to "pop" them. Getting bumped or elbowed in the breast is certainly uncomfortable, but the likelihood of causing damage to the implant is extremely low. You are much more likely to break a rib from moderate trauma than to rupture the implant. If you have pain in the breast that is more significant than would otherwise be expected from minor trauma, please contact your surgeon for evaluation.

Answer: Elbowed in boob freaking out, could breast implant be ruptured? It is very unlikely that the trauma that she describe could rupture a breast implant. However his eyes best to be examined by your surgeon
