Hello, I am scheduled for a BBL next month. My blood work came back and my platelets are low 119 10 *3 . I know the normal range is 150-440 10*3. After examining my blood work. I have sickle cell Trait—not the disease. Macrocytes were labeled “slight.” I don’t drink and I am not HIV positive nor do I have Hepitits C. My PT NIR and PT are within range and not on the broader of any of the ranges. I frequently alternate a plant based diet as well. My hemoglobin is at 13. Can I have surgery?
