What is a combituck and what's the difference between a combituck and a traditional TT? Recently a physician on this site said I would benefit from combituck and lipo. I had not planned (and honestly can't afford) to do lipo, I've scheduled ONLY a traditional TT with muscle repair.
Answer: Tummy Tuck - Combituck? Thank you for your question. "Combituck" is not a medical term or description of a procedure. It likely involves a traditional tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks or hips. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss which procedures are best for you. Hope this helps!

Answer: Combituck? My guess is that this is just a term coined by that surgeon to describe a tummy tuck with liposuction. It's not something that I've heard used.My best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian on Instagram

Answer: What is a combituck? =very likely a marketing name for a tummy tuck #tt #tummytuck #combituck #marketing #branding #drmesa "A combi-tuck" is not a medical term, but very likely suggest a type of tummy tuck procedure (medical term: abdominoplasty) that combines a tummy tuck with something else for marketing purposes. There is a medical term for a tummy tuck procedure that does combines the essence of both a tummy tuck and liposuction called lipoabdominoplasty (medical term)that is commonly know as a "Brazilian tummy tuck". This procedure significantly reshapes the torso by making the tummy flat, thiner and giving the curves to the waist (see link bellow)

Answer: Tummy tuck I am not familiar with a combituck but based on your pictures you appear to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. This should include rectus plication and liposuction of your flanks. I feel this will give you a nice contour to your abdomen and a flatter abdomen.

Answer: Abdominoplasty and ultrasonic liposuction of the "muffin top" Hi Kcenc,Thank you for the question. You will do very well with an abdominoplasty, plication of the rectus muscles and ultrasonic liposuction of the posterior lateral waist (the muffin top). That is likely what the surgeon was referring to.I suggest that you find a PS in your area that you are comfortable with. Have a complete consultation and examination. Listen carefully to what you can expect with the procedure. Take a friend as a second set of ears. Take your time to review the office website. While there look at the IPADs to assess the outcomes. There should be a massive number of before / after abdominooplasty surgery patients. If not, move on. Look at his / her patient testimonials.Meet with his / her office staff as they will be involved in your pre-operative care and post operative care. If this gives you the confidence to consider proceeding with your surgery at that office then consider what he / she recommends. If your surgeon feels that your outcome will be significantly improved with some liposuction, it may be recommended. When done in combination with the abdominal surgery, it is often much more cost effective to have it done at that time. You have time to seek out a surgeon that has the experience and results that you are seeking.
