Hi, I am interested in having a fat transfer to my back side but I'm hesitant because I have an immune disorder... I haven't had a flare in a few months and I seem to be in a period of remission. Would I still be considered a good candidate if I am still healthy overall?

There is no yes or no answer to your question.Decisions in regards to the appropriateness of cosmetic surgery is always relative.There is always some risks with surgery and some peoples chance of having complications may be slightly higher because of medical illnesses.If someone's quality-of-life is drastically enhanced by hey cosmetic surgery procedure then it is slightly increased risk of complications maybe justified.I suggest you bring this up with your rheumatologist her primary care physician first.Most plastic surgeons would want to get medical clearance before and elective surgical procedure.
