What is the most I can weigh before I can do coolsculpting?

I have been steadily losing weight through diet and exercise and I'm 5 ft 5in and am down to 180. What weight should I be down to before I am a candidate for coolsculpting?

You should be 30lbs to your goal weight in order to get desired results from Coolsculpting! It sounds like you have a healthy balance of diet and exercise which complements Coolsculpting and it natural fat elimination process. Sometimes a second treatment is needed for desired results. Doing a RF treatment like Venus Legacy after the Coolsculpting helps with lymphatic drainage and skin tightening. Good luck!

Coolsculpting candidates are not really decided upon by their weight. Its more so the areas of desired treatment, whether the expectations/goals can be achieved, the amount of cycles needed and the type of fat, among other considerations. Highly recommended to schedule a consultation with an office that does a lot of coolsculpting and has multiple machines to expedite the treatment time for you.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question as everyone distributes weight differently throughout their body.  The ideal candidate for CoolSculpting would be close to their ideal weight.  That way, you can sculpt the biggest areas of concern that are still being stubborn. I would suggest scheduling a consultation with a CoolSculpting expert to be evaluated and get the best course of treatment for your body type.

It’s difficult to tell how your weight is placed on the body without a consultation because everyone carries their weight differently. However, to be a candidate for Coolsculpting you must have pinchable fat in the treatment area. It is important to see a qualified provider to see if Coolsculpting will address your concerns, as results can vary from patient to patient.

Thank you for your question. There is not a specific weight that you have to be to have a coolsculpting procedure, but you should be as close to your ideal weight as possible. This way we are better able to target the areas that are stubborn or that bother you the most. At this point, coolsculpting would still work, but more often than not, I find that patients are happiest with their results when they lose weight first and then get treated. There is no maximum or minimum weight for CoolSculpting.  Generally, if you have "an inch to pinch" that is great for one treatment.  CoolSculpting for BMI up to 35, but can still have great results especially under the chin and redefining the jaw line on larger people.  It can make a real difference when you look in the mirror and inspire you.
