Yes, as long as you are cleared by your Doctor, you can have Coolsculpting. For best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. Thank you for your question. In general, there is no reason for avoiding Coolsculpting in Lupus patients. Having an autoimmune disease doesn't mean you would have a complication from CoolSculpting. We have treated patients with various autoimmune conditions in our Del Mar, CA dermatology practice. Lupus included. However, I would check with the PCP or Rheumatologist that is following you for your Lupus and make sure they are in agreement.
