Will CoolSculpting help even out the asymmetry on my lower buttocks? (Photo)

Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, I do think that Coolsculpting has the potential to help address the asymmetry of your lower buttocks. It is important to consider that Coolsculpting is said to deliver about a 15-20% reduction of the treated area. I recommend setting up a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience in fat reduction to devise a treatment plan. Best of luck!

Cool Sculpting is now cleared for the area under your buttocks, commonly referred to as banana rolls. It's all about if your tissue is pliable enough to reach the cooling template in the applicator. Your tissue appears somewhat dense (although impossible to tell without an in person consultation) and therefor might not respond well to coolscultping. I would seek a consultation in an office with a BC PS who can give you a liposuction consult/option as well as coolscultping so you spend your money on the best possible chance of achieving your goals. In my opinion I think you'll be happier with liposuction based on the pictures and my experience to date with banana roll coolsculpting.

Treating the area known as the banana fold will help make the cheeks look more symmetrical. Coolsculpting would be perfect for your buttocks/lower buttocks. It looks like doing a one side treatment would benefit you most to start along with a skin tightening treatment, like the Venus Legacy. There modalities used together is going to help with the symmetry of your buttocks from removing the fat and tightening the skin!

I actually think there are better options than CoolSculpting to address your concerns. Based on your pictures, I would consider a combination of fat dissolving injections, radiofrequency skin tightening (I like Thermi), and collagen stimulators to help the dimples and add volume to the right side of your buttocks. Coolsculpting is good for stubborn areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. For best results shaping the buttocks, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Not everyone is a candidate for CoolSclupting, but based on your photos, it seems like you'd be a good candidate!  This can be used to improve the contouring and symmetry of your buttocks.  Keep in mind, you would most likely need 3-4 treatment sessions to get optimal results.

Coolsculpting would be a very appropriate procedure to help correct this asymmetry issue.  We use coolsculpting almost everyday in our clinic to improve these common problems with asymmetry on many different areas of the body, including this so called "banana roll" area.  This treatment is also an excellent way to create the appearance of a more "lifted buttocks" as well.
