Tiny hole in septum skin on right nostril roughly 1mm. Just looks like missing mucosa membrane. Advice?

Had a tiny hole for a few months in right nostril, it isn’t sore, I recall pulling scabs away from this area. Is it possible to damage the skin this way and it to take this long to heal. Sometimes it looks like it is healing but I sneeze or sniff and it appears again. Also the tiniest amount of Vaseline will cover it. I do not do cocaine.
