Thanks so much for reaching out. It is possible that your muscles are going thru spasm during orgasm. The best advice it to take it easy and listen to your body. If it hurts don’t do it and give you body some more time.I hope this helps. :)
Neesah,Yours is not a common complaint, but I have heard of it before. During an orgasm, there are involuntary muscle contractions that can cause the pain you are describing. The painful experience usually resolves over time. Not able to give you the length of that time.Good luck.Dr T
Hi, thanks for the question. It may happen that in some patients they present after a TT, pain discomfort. It is important that you follow the recommendations of your PS, try to walk straight, without bending. Often bad positions can cause pain when stretching, since there is a plication and the muscles can contract and make muscle spasms. I hope it will be of great help to you. Thank you.
Sorry to hear you have been having some discomfort after the tummy tuck. It's not unusual to have pain/discomfort with exertion after the muscle plication. Nine weeks post operatively is still within the early healing phase. Orgasm is associated with the involuntary contraction of many of the muscles of the pelvic floor. It is probably these contractions that are leading to the pain. I would stretch and increase my activity level gradually and try again. I believe the discomfort will be short lived.Eric Weiss MD
You are probably feeling pulling sensations and tenderness along your muscle plication. Exertional activity should be done with caution if you are experiencing pain.
Your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to providing you with accurate information about it is possible that be "pulling feeling" you are feeling is related to muscle spasm and/or tension along the scar line, as you engage in sexual activity and/or exercise. My best advice: if you are uncomfortable, "listen to your body" and increase your "activity level" in a more gradual fashion. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question. Look like a hypertrophic scar. It is time to start the scar management with silicone based products and massage. If needed kenalogg injection. Please talk to your PS
Thank you for the question. Tummy tuck and liposuction are recommended for patients with BMI (body mass index) under 30. Currently, you BMI is 32.5 so I'd advice losing weight through diet and exercise prior to considering plastic surgery. In itself, plastic surgery should not be treated as a w...
In any formal tummy tuck, there will always be a scar, but the scar can be placed deeper and closer to the abdominal wall.
