I've had a few in-person consultations, and three surgeons have given me the suggestion to get Lipo with RF skin tightening. And two of suggested arm lift w/bra fat lipo (one suggested full arm lift, and two suggested, short scar arm lift with lipo+mode on my arms and armpit brought that area). I'm 5'4" late 40's at 138 pounds. I do a lot of weight lifting and running. Not sure which direction to go. Women on my mom's side of family gain a lot of fat in the arms compared to other body parts.
Answer: Lipo first Vaser liposuction is the less invasive but very effective method of contouring. It not only removes excess fat but stimulates the collagen in the skin to contract. Traditional liposuction does not have that same effect. I would recommend starting there before signing up for a long scar that will show forever.

Answer: Arms I would suggest doing the liposuction with the radiofrequency skin tightening for now, especially since you are active and out in the sun.

Answer: Arm lift? There are a few factors in considering the appropriate procedure for you. One is the elasticity of your skin. If you have good elasticity you should have a nice result from liposuction with J Plasma skin tightening. If your skin elasticity is poor then direct skin excision in the form of a brachioplasty would be better. Another consideration is your desired result. An arm lift will remove the excess skin and fat allowing maximum contour, but the trade off is the scar. Liposuction has the risk of leaving loose skin.

Answer: Arm lift arm reduction brachioplasty VASER arm liposuction RF arm skin tightening arm lift expert brachioplasty expert Hi Renovationproject415, Thank you for your question regarding arm lift or arm liposuction options. Thank you for your history and your photos. Generally, an "in-person" physical consultation is better than a "virtual" one. Also, a "virtual" consultation" is better than a recommendation made from a concise history with only five static pictures. Nonetheless, I will try to answer your question about whether you would do better with an arm lift or liposuction. In your case, I suggest VASER arm liposuction to maximize arm fat extraction and skin contraction. In my experience, VASER arm liposuction is superior to RF regarding skin tightening. You can always add arm RF, but I don't think you will need it with Vaser arm liposuction. Therefore, I vote for VASER arm liposuction, not an arm lift. However, I would stress the importance and value of a physical "in-person" consultation. I would go to as many physical "in-person" consultations as possible until you find a plastic surgeon whose recommendations make the most sense. Before undergoing plastic surgery, you should be comfortable with your chosen plastic surgeon's decision. I hope I have answered your question about whether you should have to go an arm, lift, arm reduction, brachioplasty, or VASER arm liposuction. When seeking a plastic surgeon for an arm lift, please consider their experience. Look for a plastic surgeon who has performed many arm lifts and has many "before and after" arm lift pictures.

Answer: Arm lift options. Each option you mentioned has different good and bad things about them. For example, a more aggressive full brachioplasty is the most invasive and leaves a long scar on the arm. However, it will be the most reliable way to provide a significant result. The least invasive option will give the least impressive result, but you will avoid more visible scarring. You can base your decision on how much of the “bad” you are willing to accept to get the “good” you are hoping for provided by a particular procedure.
