My nose is uneven on the bridge and I have a deviated septum. I have done a lot of research on rhinoplasties, looked at a lot of before & after pics. Never seen one with a nose like mine. I only like my nose in certain angles I don’t hate it but it’s a big insecurity. Could any doctors give me an assessment of my nose, and what I should do? I need insight. I know nothing can be perfectly symmetrical I just want it more symmetrical and refined.
Answer: Why septorhinoplasty may be right for you Thank you for submitting your question and photos. You may be a candidate for septorhinoplasty to correct your deviated septum and achieve the aesthetic changes you mentioned. Straightening the nose may involve grafts, struts, or osteotomies depending on the root cause. Your nasal bridge can also be refined to create a more symmetrical appearance that complements the rest of your facial features. Please note that septorhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in septoplasty and rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to evaluate your concerns, discuss your aesthetic goals with you, and determine the best approach.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty, I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Would you consider a permanent non-surgical nose job? Based on your photos, you have a pleasing nasal appearance except for a small profile bump that is visible since you have a deep super tip break and a low Radix. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections maybe considered to permanently straighten the bridge of your nose, particularly on profile view. Improving symmetry on front view may be possible as well non-surgically, depending on your examination. If you don't hate your nose, a non-surgical approach may be considered since you have relatively thin nasal skin which tends to more visible irregularities after rhinoplasty than thicker skin types. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. From the photo you provided I can say that you have strong hump on your bridge, too upturned tip and heavy deviation. With open rhinoplasty your nose can be shaped according to your wishes. If you choose your surgeon have both ENT and facial plastic specialist, s/he may solve your problem both aesthetically and functionally. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
