I don't feel that the shape of my breasts besides the nipple is terribly tuberous. When I "lift" just the nipple to make it flat, the breast shape is ok, but I'm not sure if that's actually how it would work with surgery. Is it possible for me to correct my breasts with an areola reduction alone? Thank you!
Answer: Nipple Areola Reduction Based on your pictures, you would do well with just a circumferential nipple -areola reduction/ lift. That would keep your breast shape but resize and contour the nipple area. The best thing to do is to have a few consultations with board certified plastic surgeons and see what they recommend. I hope this helps.

Answer: Breast lift If your goal is the third photo then you will need to consider more than an areola reduction. A lolliop lift could get you the results similar to the photo where you are manually lifting the breast. As an in person evaluation is always best, I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you.

Answer: Areola reduction for puffy nipples: Is it possible for me to correct my breasts with an areola reduction alone? Great question. From the pictures you've provided, it does appear that you have mildly tuberous breasts. I agree that simply lifting your nipple does seem to take care of most of the problem. The lower portion of your breasts, however, still appears slightly flat or "constricted." In order to correct this, some of the dense connective tissue needs to be divided. Thankfully, this release of the lower pole of your breast is a relatively straight forward procedure that can be done through the same incision you would have with an areolar reduction.I recommend an in-person consultation and physical exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon in order to recommend that best treatment option for you.Good luck and I hope this helps!

Answer: Nubile breasts? Dear anme55,The first question I would have is what is your age? It almost appears that your breasts are nubile and have not even completed development. If you have in fact finished your breast development, then an areolar reduction would be an option. Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon for an examination and discussion of your options, risks and expectations. Good luck!
