I had an areolar reduction to reduce the puffy look of my areola 8 years ago. The actual reduction did not actually remove much tissue, just flattened the areola. I had implants placed at the time of the reduction/mastopexy but have since had them removed so there is little pressure on the scar. The left side is great but the right has a palpable ring of suture that causes contour irregularities and residual puffiness. Can removing the suture improve this? I understand it could spread out.
