Trying do decide if I have enough breast tissue to just have a lift done? Or is it possible that just an areola reduction would give me enough lift? Or will I need both lift and implant? Want to keep them as natural as possible
Answer: Considering options From your photos it does not appear that a donut lift will be adequate for you. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation. Here you will discuss your concerns and learn more about options. I've included a video on lifts that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Areola reduction An areola reduction only removes a small amount of tissue, and it would not achieve a sufficient enough lift for your breasts. However, the procedure can be performed at the same time as a breast lift. Implants aren’t necessary if all you’d like to do is get perkier breasts.

Answer: Will an areola reduction give me a lift as well? You do need a breast lift along with augmentation. I suggest you stay away from the donut, or circumareolar lift. The donut lift should really be called the 'Do Not' lift - it provides little lift, usually results in enlarged areolas and often produces ugly scars. The donut lift should be done as rarely as possible. I nearly always do a vertical, or lollipop breast lift. The anchor lift should only be done in very droopy breasts; in my very busy breast practice I do only a couple of anchor lifts a year. I recommend smooth, round, cohesive silicone gel implants under the muscle. It is important to keep in mind that the larger the implant, the faster your lift will come down. You need to be sensible in choosing your implant size. The combined lift and augmentation is a challenging operation. I advise you to see a very experienced plastic surgeon with expertise in aesthetic breast procedures. All the best.

Answer: Breast lift A breast lift and areolar reduction go hand in hand. It is I retry standard to reduced your areola in a case like yours. I would recommend an implant along with the lift. If you don’t have an implant I think you will be surprised how small your breasts will be. Of course there is the option of just having the lift only and getting an implant later if you want it.
