For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for sharing your question but unfortunately your photos do not seem to have loaded into RS. That said, swelling after filler placement is common and steadily improves over the first 10-14 days. It often takes up to 2 weeks for fillers to soften and the tissues to appear more natural. In the meantime try reducing the swelling by using cold compresses and elevating your head at night with a couple of extra pillows behind your back. You may want to also consider using Arnica Montana and bromelain as supplements. After this initial healing period you will have a better idea as to your long-term result and can decide if you like them. Hang in there!
Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! With only being two days post injection you are most likely experiencing swelling. Swelling can last up to two full weeks to resolve. Filler also takes two weeks to fully integrate with the tissue. Good luck on your journey!
Bruising, swelling, sometimes discoloration, lumps, and bumps are normal side effects assuming proper injection. They will be gone in a matter of days. If it continues to feel uncomfortable, consult your doctor to get a complete assessment.
It's too soon to tell if what you're seeing is swelling or product placement. Post injection swelling can last up to 2 weeks. Lips tend to have significant edema after being injected and the swelling can fluctuate in the first few days after injections. I would recommend waiting for the swelling to subside before deciding if you're happy with the final outcome.
Thanks forthe question. At day2, it is likely due to swelling. A little more time is required before we seethe final result
You seem to have not attached pictures so it's hard to tell about the filler injections you are asking about.
I recommend waiting full 2 weeks to judge your final results. You likely still have swelling going on. If you are unhappy after the 2 week mark, follow up with your injector for fine-tuning. Good luck!
