I had one syringe of Vollure in my lips today and I have some small lumps where the needle went in. The anesthetic wore off so I can feel them. Not much to see. Is it just temporary swelling?

Answer: Lumps after Injection Small lumps after injection are common. You could try gently massage these areas that you are concerned about, gently rolling the lip between your thumb and forefinger while working back and forth over the area that is uneven. You should be able to disperse and mold the Juvéderm to provide improvement. Thank you for your question

Answer: Lumps after Vollure in Lips Great question. Small lumps after injections in the lips can occur. Usually right after the injection your provider would check to see if there are any lumps and smooth out. I also suggest that patients move their lips together a little as well, once the feeling returns, since there is anesthetic in the Vollure. If the bumps formed after a few hours or next day that is most likely a bruise/blood which should resolve within 2 weeks. If they are still there after 2 weeks you should return to your injector to take a look.
