Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your filler lumps. In general it takes approximately 2-4 weeks for most fillers to soften and feel more natural. Assuming your lumps are not very large they should continue to improve over the next several weeks. If they are large then have them dissolved with hyaluronidase by your injector. Hope this helps.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi Alexis_11Thank you for your question. Vollure injection for smile lines is a very popular procedure with fantastic patient satisfaction ratings. In my practice, I tell my patients to analyze their faces 2 weeks post procedure for any lumps or bumps. If they notice a big lump they would call me and I would massage down the lumps in the office. If the lumps are small, I would show them at the time of the injection how to massage them down. It is very rare in my practice to use hyaluronidase to dissolve vollure as the product is smooth and the inflammation is not as dramatic as with Juvederm Ultra Plus. If your practitioner didn’t show you how to massage your lumps, I would call him/her and request an evaluation.Hope this helpsAll the bestDr. Manios
