I suggest talking to your physician or considering botox + venus legacy treatments, this often helps soften the inflammation post liposuction and give a better contour. All my patients get this combination as part of their liposuction package. I wish you the best, Dr. Emer.
It is hard to tell from your pictures but it is way too early to comment on any permanent contour irregularities. Massage the areas of concern and be patient.
Thank you for your photograph and question. Unfortunately it is not clear in your picture the dents you are referring to. If you previously had incisions where the current dents are, they may have resulted from poor healing at the sites used to place the instruments to perform the liposuction. If these are new dents that were not associated with incision sites this may be the result of uneven liposuction. Voice your concerns with your plastic surgeon, they will be better able to diagnose the cause of the dents based on what was performed during surgery.
Firmness, lumpiness and somewhat uneven results are common immediately after liposuction. This is typically at its worst between the first and third week. By six weeks, most firmness has dissipated. Final results take around three months. There are a few factors that can have an impact on this. When liposuction is done aggressively, lumpiness tends to last longer. This is also true when high-volume liposuction is performed. In general, the chin and neck area heal faster than other parts of the body. Lastly, if there is more blood left in the tissues after liposuction, then recovery can be delayed. Bleeding is kept to a minimum during liposuction by using tumescent solution correctly. I would expect significant improvement over the next few weeks after liposuction. Know your results will most likely change and hopefully improve over the next few months.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
Thank you for the question but one cannot see the dents referred to do see your surgeon who should have the best knowledge of what was done and what they might beDr Corbin
Thank you for your question. Thank you for the picture, however it is really hard to tell by looking at it what it is you are talking about. I would say that 4 weeks is really too soon to tell what your result is going to be. it takes several months before you will know what your final result will be. I know it is difficult but try to be patient. Make sure to follow up with your surgeon.Best of luck,Dr. Peter Newen.
I can not see dents due to the photo quality however if you see dents be sure to see your surgeon and ask. It is normal to have irreegularities ( lumps and bumps) after liposuction which can appear or feel worse up to six weeks post op before they begin to settle out. Although you should follow your surgeons instructions to the "T", I have my patients massage areas and wear compression. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately I have no idea why a physician would prescribe adderall to a patient as part of a liposuction procedure. There is no indication for that medication to be given.
This is probably normal. It may be fat areas that are undergoing change versus nodes. The nodes may be enlarged due to inflkammation.
Just lipo of the hips will likely cost $3000 if done under local anesthesia. Having general anesthesia usually costs a little more
