I have little fat pockets on my mustache area. What to do? (photos)

This is a creepy picture and its dark but I think you can see what im talking about.I kno a lil lipo suction is recommended but thats kinda expensive for such small area and im afraid it might leave me unhappy with dimples making the area not smooth is there a laser or some other way to flatten that area thats not more then 500?:))

this is not a place for liposuction, but rather a place for fillers placed appropriately to lift the folds and make the fat pads look less noticeable.  also, skin tightening procedures such as thermage/ultherapy/venus legacy will improve this without surgery.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I can't say for sure without examining you but I suspect what you are seeing is the ring of muscle that surrounds your mouth --the orbicularis oris.  Correcting this or camouflaging it will take some careful thought and considerable skill on the part of your surgeon

Prior to prescribing a treatment recommendation, a correct diagnosis must be made.Facial contours are formed by a combination of facial skeletal contours, dentition, fat distribution and possible skin redundancy.Prior to recommending liposuction, a confirmation that excess fat is causing this is absolutely necessary. That may not be the case at all.It is not a typical area where the body deposits excess fat. Working with fillers just above the area to create a better sense of balance is by far a safer approach and will certainly be less expensive, though fillers are not a permanent solution. I would give a great deal of caution before letting someone liposuction this area. The area you are describing appears to have pigment which could be lightened, and tear through contour which could be filled in.

If the puffiness around the mustache area is associated with loss of skin tone and/or fine wrinkle, then a chemical peel procedure around the mouth may be a good, and less expensive alternative to surgery. For $500 you may be able to find someone to inject filler in the creases above the upper lip fullness (nasolabial folds). This may help to camouflage the areas of concern temporarily.
