Weight gain after lipofilling, how will this affect me?

There will not be a significant change in your appearance with a 0.75 kg (1.6 lbs) weight gain. In fact, during a typical day, people’s weights can fluctuate by 2.3 kg (5 lbs). You are planning to gain a small amount of weight, so I would not worry about it.

Fat cells once removed from the body do not regrow. However the remaining fat cells will grow or shrink with weight gain or loss. We encourage patients to keep a stable, healthy weight in order to maintain their results.

Gaining 750 g will make no noticeable difference on fat transferred to your face and hands.
A significant weight gain such as 5 to 10 kg will make your fat layers thicker in your new fat distribution.
If you’re happy with your outcome then it should be fine regardless of weight fluctuations.
