Weight gain after lipofilling, how will this affect me?

Hello, In March 22 2022, I went for a lipofilling for the face and hands. The dokter took 100cc for the face and 100cc for the hands. I have sported all my life, I am 50 years old, weight 53, length 1.64. Now I am afraid to put on weight and that I ruined my ecosystem. I suffer from bad panic attacks and can’t sleep. Can you please tell me what will happen with my body when I put on 3/4 kilos. The fat was removed from my legs.

There will not be a significant change in your appearance with a 0.75 kg (1.6 lbs) weight gain.  In fact, during a typical day, people’s weights can fluctuate by 2.3 kg (5 lbs).  You are planning to gain a small amount of weight, so I would not worry about it.

Fat cells once removed from the body do not regrow.  However the remaining fat cells will grow or shrink with weight gain or loss.  We encourage patients to keep a stable, healthy weight in order to maintain their results.

Gaining 750 g will make no noticeable difference on fat transferred to your face and hands.
A significant weight gain such as 5 to 10 kg will make your fat layers thicker in your new fat distribution.
If you’re happy with your outcome then it should be fine regardless of weight fluctuations.
