If there is very little unwanted fat that needs to be removed from the neck area, why some doctors told me that chin liposuction can take from 2-4 hours to complete the surgery? Some doctors told me no stitches would be necessary after the surgery? Only need to wear a neck wrap for 1-2 weeks? After the chin liposuction surgery would I be in pain, if I touched my neck the next day after the surgery was over with?

Liposuction can only remove the fatty deposits above the platysma muscle. Patients will then be required to wear a head wrap for 1 to 2 days. When patients have fatty deposits removed underneath the platysma muscle, surgery is required, and then drains are left in place for 1 to 2 days without any head wraps.
