Fixed full arch dental implants and retrofitted dentures what is the difference and how long do they last?

Fixed full arch dental implants are screwed onto the implants and can only be removed at the dentist's office by a dentist.A retrofitted denture typically is something done on an existing denture by essentially modifying it so that if can clip onto few implants (almost like a ball and socket type attachment). You would be able to take these out when you wish. There is no concept of a fixed retrofitted denture as all dentures are removable.In terms of replacements, any teeth can risk fracture or have other complications in some cases. I would be hesitant to say that they would last you a lifetime. If proper instructions are followed and everything is done well, they can last a long time.

Fixed Full arch dental implants : these are used when the amount of bone is enough to place implants and make them look natural otherwise it is indicated Retrofitting dentures.I do not agree that fixed full arch is no for life and the other it is, both have the same durability if they are made of porcelain, the difference is the second one must be removed every year by the dentist for maintenance
