Implant not fully integrated - will this happen eventually or should I have it removed? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi ,
It appears that your implant is losing bone around it and the threats are exposed .
Best solution is to take it out, probably do a bone graft and another implant in a few month. Removing an implant is a relatively simple procedure .
I hope this helps.

Do I really need root canal? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi ,
In order for assessment you will require to have a PA X-ray as well which shows apex of the root in question and surrounding bone .
It’s possibly that your dentist has mentioned you might need a root canal treatment.
Also some other signs and symptoms will be considered before root canal treatment .
Best regards

Loose baby tooth under veneer? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,
It is possible that you have made the veneer mobile rather than the tooth .
Just avoid biting on hard food till you see your dentist .
Depends on the amount of root inside the jaw bone , some baby teeth are strong and last a long time .

Why does my chin stick out so much when I smile? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,
Invisalign or any orthodontic treatment, will not change your jaw shape and positioning.
If you have a class 2 occlusion, means lower teeth/jaw are behind upper or has an increased overjet, this can be improved with orthodontic treatment, including invisalign so jaw will not show as prominent.

What is the cause of my jaw asymmetry, and what are my options? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,

Unfortunately bone graft will not change your jaw asymmetry.

Your occlusion( bite) and , teeth and jaw size should be measured precisely with an expert dentist.
From the pictures, I think you might benefit from orthodontic treatment to recreate the space and correct bite, then considering placing an implant .

Can I get a dental bridge for lower Pre-Molar 1 and 2 after having them removed?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,
it is not advised to replace 2 molars with a dental bridge.
Moreover, wisdom tooth usually is not a good tooth to be base of a dental bridge. Also, bear in mind to get a bridge you will have to have 2 teeth on the side shaved which damage them permanently.
It might be better to keep the gap or have a removable denture until you can afford dental implants.

All-on-4 Dental Implants for a gummy smile: can I straighten my teeth on to my own gum? Would shaving my gum help? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,
All on 4 implants indicated when patients do not have any teeth, or need to remove all teeth clinically.

During the surgery we remove a few millimetre of the bone from surface to factor in bone loss after teeth removal.
Please bear in mind if your teeth are not hopeless, there are minor surgeries and procedures to help with a gummy smile such as shaving gum ( gingivectomy) , rather than removing your teeth.

If you do not have enough bone at the back teeth, sinus lift is required to place implants.

Is there a problem with my teeth?Concerned about slanting and positioning. (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi, From your picture, it seems there is teeth/jaw mis alignment and crossbite. Also, you do not have the overjet to protect your teeth and TMJ joint.
Please book an appointment with an experienced dentist or orthodontist to discuss your orthodontic treatment.
