Ive been using eye drops my dermatologist gave me for a week but no results. What Can I do to help with the focus issues, dizziness and I go cross-eyed. Could covering my other eye help strengthen my droopy eye? I have trifocals and cannot see without glasses. I work in front of a computer so I need some suggestions please.
Answer: Droopy Eyelid Hi jenrae72, thanks for your question! Dysport, like Botox, is a neurotoxin that acts to relax the muscles in the face and reduce fine lines and creases in the skin. Both Dysport and Botox can cause a droopy eyelid, also called a ptosis, if injected too low in the forehead. There are certain OTC eye drops that can be used to lessen the effects. The product only lasts so long, so patients can also wait a few weeks or months for the effects of the neurotoxin to wear off. Hope this helps!

Answer: Dysport and a droopy eyelid. Dysport is a wonderful neurotoxin to relax the muscles and in terms soften movement lines on the upper portion of the face. With that said, a droopy eyelid is a side effect of this product, which luckily is not permanent but still very bothersome for the patient. If the eyedrops did not help, you may need to let it run its course. In the future, be sure to mention this to your injector so she or he can make some modifications on doses and location of injections.

Answer: Droopy eyelid after Dysport You do have some ptosis after Dysport. Dysport can spread a little bit more then actual Botox, but there are some eyedrops that you can have your doctor's office prescribe that will strengthen the upper lid muscle for 4-6 hours after the drops are applied. You can use that 4-6 times a day. The worst droopiness you will notice is around the 1 week to 10 days mark. With botox it is usually the two week mark and after that your muscle strength will go back to normal in approximately 6 weeks.

Answer: Dysport and droopy eyelid Droopy eyelid is an uncommon adverse effect of neuromodulator treatment, including Dysport and Botox. It will resolve in few weeks if the neuromodulator migration is minimal. In the meantime, your doctor can prescribe eyedrops that temporarily elevate the eyelid.
