Dr. Akkary is a phenomenal physician and surgeon! Extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented (a must for anybody operating on me)! His educational background is impressive to say the least, and he continuously strives to learn more. He’s passionate about what he does and it shows in how he openly shares his knowledge. Most caring physician I’ve met; he gives patients his personal cell#! I felt extremely confident in his care and have been very pleased with my results! I’ve exceeded my weight goal, going from morbid obesity to normal BMI! I also no longer suffer from GERD since the hiatal hernia was repaired during the same procedure and only have a few tiny scars!

I love how thorough the process is. The doctors make sure you are healthy enough for the surgery, which was very important to me. I never feel rushed. Anytime I call, someone calls back with answers. The office staff knows your name as soon as you walk in. Zero issues pro op or post op. The trick is to follow the rules and you will be fine. A+++ all around.

From my very first visit I was totally put at ease by the professional and kind staff. Once I met Dr. A and Dr. B I was sold, they were kind, they listened to what I wanted and why. The plan was fully discussed with me before the procedure, the staff educated me on what to do pre and post op. I was given Dr. Akkary's personal cell phone number in the even that I had a question or issue after hours. I love the results and most of all I would not hesitate to refer any of my family or friends to Dr. Akkary's office for any procedure. I am definitely one satisfied patient.

He is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Not only is he a great Dr. but he treats you like a human being, not just a number! He is very kind hearted. When talking to him you can see his face light up and makes you more excited about what you are doing. He is as excited as you are. He makes you very comfortable about the decision that you both are making.
