I've had a rhinoplasty 6 years ago. I want a revision for a smaller nose tip. Will it still look natural? (Photo)

I've had my nose done 6 years ago. I'm still happy with my nose, expecially when i see my before pictures. But i liked my nose more when i was swollen after my surgery (around 5/6months after) Now i do like my nose, but i always wanted my nose tip a bit smaller. I had a consultation 3 years ago to discuss this, but she told me i would look fake and i would possibly have a hole in my nose. I left it alone, but i still would be happier with a smaller nosetip. I would like advice?

Answer: Tip problem + alar retraction + columellar hanging problem
Hello, and thank you for your question. Full results from rhinoplasty are achieved in 12-14 months. At 9 months, your nose may still have some swelling, and it will still change. If after a full year you still notice the deformity, you should have it evaluated. You may need a revision...
Hi @Enthusiastic663572. Thank you for sharing your photos. I'm sorry you are not happy with your results. I recommend seeing an expert revision rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are options for you that can be determined after examination.
Best of luck,
Dr. Nima
