Hi, gumboThe indentation at the drain site can improve with time and massaging.  Please allow the area to heal for the next 6 months to 1 year.  If the area bothers you after a year, a scar excision may be considered.  Please follow up with your plastic surgeon and ask for his/her advice.

This does happen. If after 6 months still unhappy a local anesthesia revision would be the next step..........
