Indentation/Cavity at drain site? (Photo)

Question

I had a full TT 4 weeks ago with 2 JP drains. The drains came out 2 weeks ago. One drain site has a cavity/indentation and it is making my girl parts look very very odd. Especially when I shave. Is this just swelling still and will eventually even out?

More than likely, what you are experiencing is temporary. Your body will continue to change several months after the operation, including The drain site. If you continue to experience this or have any questions or concerns, be sure to stay in touch with your plastic surgeon.It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic

extensive experience in tummy tuck / abdominoplasty.

Hi, gumboThe indentation at the drain site can improve with time and massaging.  Please allow the area to heal for the next 6 months to 1 year.  If the area bothers you after a year, a scar excision may be considered.  Please follow up with your plastic surgeon and ask for his/her advice.

Congratulations on having undergone the tummy tuck procedure. These types of skin contour irregularities are often temporary and smoothen out over the course of several months. Gentle massage over the drain site may be helpful. Your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment and advice.
