I had my revision surgery from 225 cc to 450cc two days ago. They are smaller than I expected. They are over the muscle. Will they fluff? I was so worried about going to 450cc, but now I’m wondering if I actually went too small. Thanks!
Answer: Worried I didn't go big enough 2 days after surgery Hi and thank you for the question. You are really early on in the recovery period. Your breasts are going to change for the next 3-6 months so you have to watch and wait. Generally speaking, I usually tell patients who want to see a noticeable difference in implant volume (whether they are going up or down in size) that it takes about 150-250cc's to make a difference. You are right in that ballpark, so my guess is that you may well be happy after everything settles. Best of luck. Dr West

Answer: Give it time! Thanks for your question! GIVE IT TIME! That big of a jump in size means your skin still needs to stretch out over the implant, thereby currently giving a smaller, compressed appearance. Many times it takes up to 4-6 months for results to fully express. Best of luck!
