How many hours does an en bloc explantation surgery take? How much extra time for a lift?

With Baker IV level capsular contractor. 34 year old double lumen implants with smal rupture in both. Outer lumen saline (all gone in both), inner lumen silicone. MRI showed silicone to be still contained with in capsule. I'm 70, good health, thin and considering a lift too. It depends on how long I would have to be under General Anesthesia. 34 DD (Pre implants size 34 B.) I could live without getting the lift....if it means pushing things on time.

An examination is really needed to give you a good idea of surgical time.   The explant portion will take approximately 2-3 hours, and the lift will add approximately 2-3 hours.  I recommend visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can advise what is the best choice for you.

Much will depend on exactly what is done;  surgical times will also vary from one practcie to another. In our practice, this type of surgery generally ranges between 2 to 3 hours in duration. Best wishes.

Every surgeon is different. For me, most can have the implants removed, capsule removed and exchanged within about 2 hours.  A lift would add another hour or two.  Best of luck.

I do these almost every week for BII and ASIA.  These operations are not simple or fast.  The larger the implants the more difficult it can be.  It can also be complicated by the capsular contracture or ruptured silicone implants.  The average time in my practice is between 2-3 hours.  Of course it depends on your examination and what lift is needed based on my examination and our discussion.
