I typically recommend to all my patients that they avoid sitting directly on their butt for a total of 8 weeks. You should discuss this with your plastic surgeon.
You should avoid and minimize sitting for at least 2 weeks and ideally closer to 6 weeks. Most patients will use pillows and cushions while sitting during this time period. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon however as he or she may have their own protocol for activity after fat transfer tot he buttock.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Dear peachcheeks,You should ask your surgeon what they recommend. I ask my patients not to sit on their buttocks for at least 2 weeks and to not exercise for 3-4 weeks. But only your plastic surgeon should be the one giving you advice as to when you can start specific activities. Best of luck.
I would ask your surgeon by phone or email.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA............................
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
I allow patients to do aerobic activitiy about 3-4 weeks after a BBL. I would say rollercoaster riding may fall in to this category because you have to hold on. Always best to ask your surgeon.
You will need to discuss this with your surgeon for a specific answer.Generally, most patients can resume most activities 4-6 weeks after surgery.Best wishes.
Thank you for your question.First, ask your surgeon.Second, I am sure you want to get the best result you can.In general, when the swelling and pain subsides are good indicators that you are now ready to begin a progressive exercise program. This is usually at the 3-4 week time period.it's better to go slow and be conservative. My best,
I assume that you will be wearing a long compression garment following BBL. This can be cumbersome while ridding a rollercoaster and can be restrictive, not to mention safety. I dvice my patients to wait at least 4 weeks for any strenuous activity.Best is to consult your surgeon.
Any surgical procedure carries some risk of complications or adverse side effects. The Brazilian Butt Lift has a relatively low risk of complications, but there is always a small risk of infection, and also a risk that some of the grafted fat will die, leaving lumps and irregularities (fat...
Thank you for your question. For the best results get any cosmetic procedure done by a board certified plastic surgeon with experience. Lumpiness is uncommon with a BBL. If you want to avoid these risks then choose a plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure. For the most part this...
