Active and desiring natural look, unsure about implants. I have been insecure about my breasts my whole life. I'm prefer not to have a lift as I do not want the keyhole scarring. Is the Interlocking Gore-Tex suture possible and what are the rates of stretching after? Will just the alveolar reduction help w/ symmetry and sag? Fears: Breast CA (no family hx though), uneven nipples, having to get them redone as I age, scarring and looking "bigger" in general
Answer: Areolae To make your areolae smaller, you will have a scar around them. You could achieve about a cup increase in size with a fat transfer if you want.

Answer: AFG w/ areolar reduction possible? Hello @Exciting580931 thank you for your question and showing your pictures. In some cases, tuberous breasts may present extremes or mild cases of constricted breast tissue. Instead of having a round dome shape, the breasts are shaped like ice cream swirls with narrower shapes. Variable circumferential constriction of soft tissue fibers. Full release of these fibers would change the swirl into more of a dome and would improve matters. This can be better achieve with a breast implant augmentation. With breast fat transfer or autologous fat lipoinjection the results will be natural and will not increase the volume of your breast for more than one size. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options tailored specifically to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS

Answer: Mini lift The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift You are referring to getting a benelli lift where the incisions are around the areolae only.. you risk a wide thick scar and your areola stretching out. You're better off having nothing done instead of that type of procedure that has a terrible track record

Answer: Tuberous breasts Dear Exciting580931, tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall. The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition. My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries. That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
