Is it possible to have 25-50 Cc of fat transferred to each breast. I already have augmentaed implants of silicone dual plane currently. I want to make them a little bigger. Where could I harvest fat from that would only require local anesthesia. Would the procedure cost less then a full fat transfer augmentation seen as I’m only wanting to go max 50cc per breast. Also would the fat be injected under local anesthesia. I just had my implant procedure how soon could I add the fat transfer ?

Answer: Possible to have 25-50 Cc of fat transferred to each breast under local anesthesia? Have silicone dual plane implants. The addition of 200cc to the chest of a thin woman makes a significant effect while the same 200cc added to the chest of a larger lady is barely noticeable. You would probably need 100cc to each breast to reap 50cc as 50% of the fat may not survive. It is usually done under a general anesthetic. But sometimes it may be done with a local anesthetic to numb the area.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear PoppySun, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
