With any breast reduction, insurance requires a certain mass per breast removed based on a calculation called body surface area. Outside of this number in grams, the breasts can be reduced even further within reason. Going too small will not offer you a pleasing aesthetic and also warrants complications including limiting the blood supply to the nipple.
