I'm only 21 and I'm currently a 34KK/L, I've had big breast, by 12 I was a DD. I'm going through this process because I want a chance to enjoy my body and now that I'm entering my 20s the time seems right. I know that my breast will grow after surgery so is it possible to go from an 34KK/L to a 34C/DD so when they grow it won't be as big? I'm exercising regularly so hopefully I'll be down to 30inch before surgery. I'm still researching so I'm open to all recommendations.

Answer: Breast Reduction Sizing Thank you for your question. With any breast reduction, insurance requires a certain mass per breast removed based on a calculation called body surface area. Outside of this number in grams, the breasts can be reduced even further within reason. Going too small will not offer you a pleasing aesthetic and also warrants complications including limiting the blood supply to the nipple. You may benefit from a free nipple graft if you are wanting to go much smaller. I recommend speaking to a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and for further evaluation.
