Red spot on incision after 6 months. What can be do to treat this? (Photo)

Question

I’m 6 months post op and recently noticed a red spot directly on my incision near my nipple (I had a reduction with lift no implants) and I didn’t know if it’s something that looks concerning or maybe it’s a pimple (there isn’t a visible head if it was a pimple). It’s about the size of a quarter, and doesn’t hurt to the touch unless you put firm pressure on it, but even then it’s very mild.

It's hard to advise what may be occurring without an examination.  It could be scar tissue, a suture knot, or something else.  I encourage you to visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.  She/He will advise if anything further is necessary.
